Mrs. Dale

Kindergarten Education

My name is Amy and I have been with the Options program for many years-as a parent, a sub, office aide, and even one year as co-coordinator. A few years ago, as I was wrapping up my homeschool years, I decided to renew my teaching license. Immediately, a position opened up at Options and I was able to teach some elementary classes. Then five years ago I had the exciting opportunity to fulfill one of my dreams of teaching kindergarten!! All three of my boys have been a part of the Options program and all have succeeded academically and have made life-long friendships from their time here. My oldest son just moved to NJ and commutes to work in mid-town Manhattan. My middle son and his wife, Hannah, and our first grandbaby, Elias, live in Greeley and we try to see them as much as possible. Our youngest is in his third year at UNC which means my husband, Doug, and I are now empty nesters. In my free time I enjoy walking, reading, doing puzzles, playing games, drinking coffee, and trips to our family cabin in Grand Lake!

Mr. wilborn

Theater Education

My name is Micah Wilborn, and I am beyond excited to be joining the Greeley Options team!
I grew up in Colorado Springs and moved out to Greeley in 2018. I am a recent graduate of UNC, with a bachelors in Theatre Education, for the whole range of K-12. At UNC, I spent time directing one-acts and full-length works in a multitude of settings, and am thrilled to bring that to the Greeley Options classrooms. I spend my time outside of the workplace investing in my wife, our two cats, and a plethora of hobbies that keep me busy. Oftentimes when asked, my 'fun fact' is that I can juggle pins and ride a unicycle, sometimes at the same time.  As a Greeley local since 2018, I have a deep appreciation for this city and the people who reside within it, and am an active participant in the local music scene - there's nothing I enjoy more than seeing live music and other community art forms thrive. My other great loves include reading and writing, being outside, and cycling around with my wife on our tandem bike.
Theatre is a unique activity, one that brings people from differing cultures and identities together to celebrate one of the oldest art forms. I am so excited to be joining this team and facilitating art in a setting with so many experienced educators. Here's to a great school year!

Mrs. Ward

Enrichment Education

Hello Options Families!

I have 20 years of teaching under my belt, and currently work with my husband in the family biz.  I was lucky enough to teach for the Greeley Options Team before, so this is my second season! I love to learn, so as much as I can I like to try new things.  Recently I have taken up swimming and I have to say I am pretty fast, that is with flippers.  Long flippers.  Ballroom dancing is also a new endeavor.  And even though our kids tease us when we practice, my husband still goes without complaining.

So students...Are you interested in beginning your future film career?  Or does learning how to turn money into a useful tool in your life pique your curiosity?  How about diving into what makes people around the world different AND the same?  Or perhaps the idea of competing, strategizing, and cooperating simultaneously is the excitement you are seeking!  If these classes are for you, then I can't wait to tackle Film, Personal Finance, Cultures in My World and Games together!   My name is Molly Ward and I look forward to enjoying the Best Day of the Week, (J. Misuraca, c. 2012), with you!

Elective Education

Ashley Yergert grew up in a small ranching community in southeast Colorado. Growing up in a tiny town gives Ashley a greater love for the “small town feel” and small class sizes at Options. Ashley graduated from the University of Northern Colorado last December with her degree in Elementary Education. After that, she decided to pursue fitness and personal training and earn her personal training and nutrition coach certifications through NASM. Ashley has always held a love for sports and kids, so she is thrilled to be able to combine both her passions at Options. My name is Lindsay Post.  I am excited to get the chance to work alongside hardworking homeschool educators, and I am grateful to join the Options team! I just moved back to the area from Northern CA in the fall of 2024.  I have a degree in fashion and business.  I worked for many years as a buyer and financial planner for big retail companies, and I moved into teaching one summer when a local Bible camp needed a teacher.  I realized then that I love to teach! I then homeschooled my kids for 12 years.  I organized and led a coop for many homeschool students and later I taught at a charter school that served homeschool students.  I believe homeschooling is an amazing gift we can give to our kids!  I love teaching enrichment classes and helping to create community.  I am married with two teen daughters, and my family loves to be outdoors hiking, exploring, and traveling.  I also love exploring museums and historical places.
